It's a stimulating experience, and we want to share it with our friends. So when you make a suggested donation of $150 we put you on our OPP Care Package mailing list.
Which is where it gets interesting.
Three times a year, we sit down with our most recent projects and products and start dividing them up into boxes for our subscribers. DVDs. Documentaries. Solo journalism. Paperbacks. High-gloss, hardcover fine-art books. Graphic prints. Stickers. Nifty schwag.
If you're down with OPP, we're going to work to keep you happily supplied with cool stuff that adds something to your life.
Could we make more money if we charged you for everything in the package individually? Sure. In theory. But we'd have to spend more to get that extra cash, and the herky-jerky cash-flow involved simply doesn't contribute to our goal of building a sustainable economic model that supports the kinds of artists and journalists we respect and represent.
It also builds a more sustainable model for the communities we support and that support us by giving us great stories.
